    Gravity Jack

    Property Overview

    Gravity jack is a road-accessible copper-iron skarn project located 18 kilometres northeast of Boston Bar, BC. The property is underlain by the Mount Lytton Complex, The Property is underlain by calcareous sedimentary rocks and granodiorites and diorites of the Mount Lytton Complex. The skarn mineralization is developed in calcareous units in contact with the intrusive rocks.

    Historic Work

    Historic grab sampling has returned highlight values of 1% copper and 63% iron. Recent exploration has focussed on the skarns and included ground magnetics, 3D IP, rock, soil and silt sampling. Four targets consisting of semi-massive to massive magnetite or skarn were identified in the recent work.

    Highlight values of 2% copper and 61% iron across 12.9 metres, along with local silver highlight values of 68.57 g/t were obtained from showings consisting of massive magnetite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and hematite. The largest magnetite skarn is described as 3.66 metres wide by 182.88 metres long.

    Project Geology

    A zone of pyrrhotite mineralization located over three kilometres away from the skarn showings returned highlight values of 24g/t silver and 1.44% copper.

    A third target area, 600 metres to the southwest, consisting of chlorite-sericite altered, foliated intermediate intrusive with pyrite returned highlight values of 0.81% copper, 17g/t silver, and 0.13g/t gold.

    Looking Forward

    A detailed airborne magnetics survey is recommended to trace the magnetite skarn mineralization along strike. Detailed sampling is also recommended for each of the target areas.
